COOKING IN UMBRIA

Choose our hands-on cooking classes to learn to prepare and enjoy good and healthy food! You will prepare the whole dinner you'll taste in the night.
You will discover  step-by-step  how to prepare an Italian meal, from the appetizers to the dessert, hand- made pasta or gnocchi, involtini and tiramisu or whatever you would like to cook!
Last but not least… we will sit together “a tavola” and enjoy what you have prepared, and we'll give you useful tips to prepare them easily once back at home.

Day 1
3.00 pm: arrival with your own car to the villa and relax with an Italian espresso.
We give you a folder with  brochures and suggestions for your free time and  menus and  recipes of the dishes you'll prepare in the two days of cooking classes.
4.00 pm  8.00 pm: the first day of your stay you learn how to cook little appetizers, filled vegetables, many kinds of  bruschetta and taste different kind of cheese and oil.
8.00 pm: we sit down in the garden  with a glass of wine and we eat together what we cooked.

Day 2
Between 8.00 am and 11.00 am: Italian breakfast.
11.00 am  12.30 am: wine tasting light lunch in a wine cellar.
12.300 am  8.00 pm: free time. We suggest to visit Assisi, Perugia or one of the beautiful medieval towns of the area or, if you prefer it, you can return back and relax at La Corte del Poggio.
8.00 pm: dinner at La Corte del Poggio.

Day 3
Between 8.00 am and 11.00 am: Italian breakfast.
11.00 am  1.00 pm: free time. We suggest to visit one of the oldest pottery workroom of Deruta.
They show you how they make pottery from the beginning to the end of their work.
Lunch on your own in one of the nice bar or small restaurants of Deruta.
4.00 pm  8.00 pm: cooking class: you prepare the whole dinner you'll taste in the night.

Day 4

Between 8.00 am and 11.00 am: Italian breakfast.
Departure from the villa.
